Golaem Crowd Crowd software overview:

Golaem Crowd 7, Take complete control of your crowd. In addition to the improved animation system, Golaem Crowd 7 enables the creation of more complex pictures and faster scenes creation by giving artists full control over the simulation. Golaem Crowd is being used by more than a hundred vfx studios worldwide. The latest versions include Dracula Untold (Framestore), Hercules (Milk VFX, Cinesite), 22 Jump Street (Pixel Magic). Golaem Crowd has helped them get up to speed on the crowd and quickly take big projects. Golaem Crowd 7 offers more advanced features with the same ease of use, and facilitates crowd simulation interaction with other elements in the image: open access to simulation data, simulation data curve, delete simulation and buffer buffers.

NEW FEATURES

  • New Golaem plugin for Houdini 17.5 allows to preview and display Golaem Caches in Mantras (beta)
  • Proxy proxies can currently have a Layout File hierarchy to lay out a Buffer Simulator at multiple levels (project, sequence, shot …)
  • New rendering properties mechanism to control each mesh rendering property (sub, shift, viz …) for Arnold, Vray, Renderman rendering plugin

  • Added offline mode for Pose and Rig Layer in Layout Tools
  • Added ‘Import Maya Keyframes’ button on Pose and Rig Layer in Layout Tools
  • The Layout buttons can be double-clicked to be added to the latest Selector in the Layout Tool
