Overview of Topaz Studio software, photo editing, photo enhancement:
Topaz Studio is an editor to use when you want to have functional images and you don’t mind taking the time to get them. That is to create works that push the limits of your artistic vision; The few that you know you’ll look back on over the years is one of your best creations. That’s why you won’t find gallery management, design tools, batch editing, or other popular “image editing” tools in Studio. There are tons of photo editors out there to help you manage your workflow and make small contrast adjustments. Topaz Studio is not for that. If it does not contribute to the vision of creating nicely beautiful images through post-processing, we will not include it.

Topaz Studio Features
Unique and advanced filters.
- You will find that these are not your daily photo editing filters the moment you try. Topaz Labs actually started creating Photoshop filters. We’ve condensed a decade of our specialized post-processing experience into a set of Studio 2’s most useful filters only. Here are some of the most popular filters you won’t find. in any other place.
- This AI-powered tool can really sharpen details while eliminating noise. Try out your own image to see why some photographers say AI Clear is the best we’ve ever developed.
- Conventional sharpening tools increase edge contrast while giving a sharp look while also adding artifacts and halos. Topaz Natural detail enhancement already exists in the image. This unique technology helps you naturally make your photos look more “three-dimensional” and adds a beautiful, natural feel of sharpness to your photos.
Black and white
- Turn your photos into subtle monochrome images that will touch your viewers. The Black and White filter uses a unique BW transition engine that emphasizes tones and textures to help you get an image of the bw on BW.
Explore and create Looks to transform your photos.
- Topaz Studio’s filters work well, but magic does happen when they are combined. Topaz Studio 2 includes more than 200 “Looks” (pre-built filter groups) that help you explore various beautiful effects for your images with just one click.
- Explore hundreds of beautiful textured and tone effects, handcrafted by some of the best photographers in the world. With over 200 effects with just one click, each with the ability to blend together in different ways, the only limit is your imagination.

- Create beautiful lighting effects in photos to reveal the life hidden in every moment you take. Apply a wide range of forms from a pleasing subtle diffuser to spectacular electrical and neon effects.
Built with real users,
- Topaz Studio 2 doesn’t do everything, but it’s really good with what it does. If you find yourself needing to add “something” in the photo, please try again. You will be amazed!
Powerful selective adjustment and masking.
- There’s a big difference between masks for synthesis versus selective tuning. Topaz Studio focuses purely on selective adjustments and we think this is a central feature of the product rather than an add-on. As you will see, this leads to many design decisions intended to shorten the time you spend refining your mask, like including edge perception in each of the masking tools in Studio.
- Select different parts of your image by painting it directly. By default, Topaz Studio’s brushes are edge-aware. This means you can quickly color your selection without worrying too much about being in between lines. This is the fastest and most direct way to selectively apply an effect to your images.
