ZWCAD Mechanical 2020 Release Notes:
You can use the data extraction wizard provided by ZWCAD 2020 to extract data from data source. The extracted data can be exported to an external table or file.
The Data Extraction Wizard guides you through the following steps:
-Select the data source.
-Filter object (not block and block) and select the object.
-Filter list and selected properties to be extracted.
Organize and optimize the extracted data.
-Select the output format for the data (external tables and / or files).
Select a data source:
Data of each object in the drawing can be extracted and data of all objects in the drawing can also be extracted. If you select a drawing, all objects in the drawing will be extracted, including invisible objects.
Choose your audience:
Currently, types of objects such as circles, lines, polylines, text, solids, 3D solids, points, arcs, and blocks are supported for data extraction.
The data extraction object selection page displays a list of objects. In this page, filter can be used to display block or non-blocking objects.
The Data Extraction Properties selection page shows the list of properties of the selected objects in column form.
On this page, you can use category filters (such as general, geometry, or text) to narrow the list of properties.
The extracted properties are identified by inspection. You can also define the output table, including header hiding, define table header names, and whether to merge rows with the same properties.
Sort and optimize data:
After selecting properties, a table preview is created. You can adjust the table, including sorting rows / columns, and adding filter properties.
Choose the output format:
The extracted data can be exported to a table and inserted into the current chart. It can also be exported to external files, including CSV files, XLS files, and Zex files.
As the drawing or object changes, the extracted properties can be updated to synchronize with the data sources.
You can manually update the extracted data, whether to export the data extraction table or to external files.
